Tag Team Event A tag team event will be held on Saturday the 1st of November 2pm +11GMT [Local Time]. Anyone is allowed to participate. Adjudicators will be Axle and myself to ensure no cheating takes place.
Description:
This event will be a tag team one, where teams of 2 players with an optional substitute compete to finish the chosen maps first. One person attempts the first bounce/jump of a map and once they have completed it (saved) the other team member is allowed to attempt the bounce/jump. Team members have to wait until both players have completed the previous bounce/jump before proceeding to the next bounce/jump. A team is finished when both team members have completed each bounce/jump while not breaking any of the rules below. The competition will be a best of 3 maps. Points for winning a map are:
- 3 points for first.
- 2 points for second.
- 1 point for third.
Maps:
The following maps will be used for the event:
- mp_peds_propel
- mp_easy_jump
- mp_atramentous
Prizes:
Whichever 3 teams that have the most points at the end of the 3 maps will win the following prizes:
- 3rd: 1000xp
- 2nd: 1 month rank upgrade (Player to Dona, Dona to Donapro, Donapro to VIP, VIP and Admin to 3000 xp)
- 1st: Nudes of an admin of the winners choice
Rules:
If any of these rules are broken the team is warned once and forced to restart map. If warned again they are disqualified for that map.
1. Maximum of 2 players and 1 substitute allowed.
2. One team member attempts bounce/jump at a time.
3. Can only move on to next bounce/jump once both team members have completed (saved) the previous bounce/jump.
4. No cuts are allowed.
5. All fps allowed.
6. No grav gun.
7. No noclip or other special admin/vip powers allowed.
8. No killing.
9. No multiple rpg's.
10. No changing of server dvars.
11. Can block other teams (will turn off no-block for the event).
12. A maximum of 1 Admin/VIP/Donapro/Dona allowed on each team.
Map Specific Rules:
1. mp_peds_propel: Pendulum part is considered one section, therefore one person may attempt it from one team and a given time, once that section is completed the other team member may then do it. Same goes for the slide section right after. See demos for an example of this.
2. mp_easy_jump: Ladder section is considered one part until you make it to a place you can save, hard to explain so see demo for an example.
3. mp_atramentous: Can go into teleport before teammate has finished previous bounce/jump, but can not go past next bounce/jump. See demo for an example.
Realised rules might be a bit confusing and maps might be hard with heaps of other teams participating at once, so Athos and MrLolCJ have demonstrated what runs on these maps will look like [Link].
